David Samuels, D.M.D.
Periodontist
After completion of a BS in the Preprofessional Scholars Program in
Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Samuels received his
DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He went on
to be president of his postgraduate class in Periodontology at Tufts.
Since 1990, he has practiced periodontics, implant dentistry and oral
medicine in the Boston area.
Dr. Samuels has served as Associate Clinical Professor in the
Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, as well as lectured in
the Department of Oral Pathology at Tufts University School of Dental
Medicine. His publications include the Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral
Medicine and Oral Pathology, as well as the 4th edition of John I.
Ingle's Endodontics.
In 2008, he was the General Chairman Yankee Dental Congress, one of the
most prestigious Dental Conferences in the world, and Boston's largest
annual meeting with nearly 30,000 attendees. He is the incoming
President of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the recognized leader
for the enhancement of oral health and the Dental Profession.
In addition to the American Dental Society, Dr. Samuels is a Fellow of
the American Society of Osseointegration, and an active member of the
American College of Oral Implantology, the International Congress of
Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Peridontology.
