“Creativity is a state, not a trait,”
... Carmine Morreale, D86, likes to say. “Immersing yourself in creativity makes you better at designing a life worth living.”
A decade ago, Morreale enrolled in the sculpture diploma program at what is now the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University—while still maintaining his Back Bay practice. Morreale is also a clinical professor of prosthodontics and teaches CAD/CAM dentistry.
He is seen here at Diablo Glass studio in Boston. Working in a medium like glass, he said, “is a complement to the precision required in dentistry, which allows me to explore the other side of my brain.”
