Hans-Peter Weber, DMD
Dr. Hans-Peter Weber is our implant dentistry expert at Boston Center for Oral Health. Dr. Weber is the Chair of the Department and Professor of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, a position he assumed in February 2010. Before joining the Boston Center for Oral Health, he practiced for more than 20 years at the Harvard Dental Center. Dr. Weber’s background in prosthodontics and periodontics makes him one of the preeminent experts in implant dentistry worldwide.
Dr. Weber earned his dental degrees from the University of Berne, Switzerland and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He also holds Certificates in Prosthodontics and Periodontology from the University of Berne.
Dr. Weber holds active memberships in numerous professional organizations. He is a Fellow and member of the Executive Council of the Academy of Prosthodontics, an honorary member of the American College of Prosthodontists, a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), and a Fellow of both the American and International Colleges of Dentistry.
Dr. Weber has published widely in scientific and clinical literature and lectures nationally and internationally. He currently serves as Associate Editor for Clinical Oral Implants Research and as a reviewer for several other journals.
In his free time, Dr. Weber enjoys golfing, boating and skiing as well as traveling.
